1. Inspection window
All wholesale shipments are inspected within five business days of receipt. Any damages, shortages, mislabeled units, or non-conforming product must be reported to the supplier within this window, with photos and references to the PO and BOL.
2. RMA requests
Returns are coordinated through a written RMA request. Each request includes the original PO number, SKU, quantity, reason for return, and photo documentation. AJL expects suppliers to respond to RMA requests within five business days.
3. Defective merchandise
- Manufacturing defects: full replacement or credit at supplier cost
- Damage in transit: credited via carrier claim where applicable
- Mis-picks and short shipments: replaced or credited at supplier cost
4. Return shipping
For supplier-side errors, return freight is paid or arranged by the supplier. For other returns, freight responsibility is agreed at RMA approval.
5. Marketplace returns
End-customer returns on resold inventory are handled by AJL through the relevant marketplace policy and are not passed back to suppliers, except for confirmed manufacturing defects.
